If yesterday was a taste of how seventh year is going to be, I want to say, "I want to stay a fifth year FOREVER!" All the seventh years are BONKERS! No offense to any of you who were bonkers before, but now you've just added to your ranks!
And it looks so confusing too! All these triangles and squares. Like Poor Amaury! His date for the Dance is now being whisked away by another boy! And Poor Rich! He has to compete against the awesome Head Boy?! That's just so sad!
And all this talk about the dance! Do we really have to have dates and get them right now? Well... okay... since Amaury is going with Audrey, lessee...
Daniel? Luca? Jude? Do you want to go with me? I'll bake cupcakes for you! And I promise not to step on any toes! And it'll be fun going with friends! What do you think? |

So... what did you guys think of my dad? Isn't he cool? Well, you don't have to say he is because he is a little weird (I wonder if all girls think that of their fathers) and boring (don't tell him I said that!) but he knows the law and stuff! So, I think he gave a rather good speech about the legal profession even if I don't think I can be a lawyer myself. Anyways, Amaury! Do you know if he saw the banners that Viv and I made? What did he think? |

I know the field trip is supposed to prepare me in case I want to work for the Ministry after graduating but...
I don't think I could spend all day writing howlers! THAT'S JUST TOO SAD! And I'd think you'd need a lot of hate inside yourself to be able to charm them properly to YELL AND BE MEAN! right? Or maybe because the people writing the howlers are stuck in their offices writing them, they in turn become angry and mean themselves?!!!! What is that called? A paradox? I know it's not an epiphany or a hyperbole. Um... is that the correct term?
Well, it's just sad. I think I will send them cookies when I get back to Hogwarts. |

Wow... did anyone know that Professor Lucas was married? I guess I'm just surprised because I never think about our professors being married (not that they couldn't be married if they wanted to, but it's just hard to think of them not being professors). I wonder if there is a Mr. McGonagall or a Mrs. Slughorn!
Mama came by today with Mrs. Lucas, Mrs. Goldstein, and Mrs. Towler for Career Day. It was great seeing them. Awkward to see Mama acting all professional but great nonetheless! I don't think I'll be working at St. Mungo's myself, but it was neat seeing the turnout for their talk! |
